INTRODUCTION TO QUICKBOOKS
SPONSORED BY LABOUR & ADVANCED EDUCATION
The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce will be offering a free Introduction to Quickbooks course beginning at the end of January.
This 40 – hour course is designed for those with basic bookkeeping knowledge.
Course Content will include:
- Accounting Theory
- Set up of Quickbooks software
- Set up of accounts/lists
- Navigating the software
- Creating invoices and credits,
- Recording sales receipts
- Setting up payables and credit cards
- Receiving payments and making deposits
- Writing cheques
- Paying invoices
- Bank Reconciliations
The Introduction to Quickbooks will run 2 x a week for 6 weeks beginning late January. There is a $75 dollar deposit refunded to participants with 80% attendance.
